PIGSHOT Map Voting: Arena Choices and Movement Tips

How Does Map Voting Work in PIGSHOT?

PIGSHOT map voting gives you a say in where the next fight happens. Your choice matters because you’ll need to navigate the arena, grab weapons, and stay alive while fighting other pigs. Pick with your movement routes in mind, then get ready for a match where the first to win three rounds takes the victory.

The arena themes include castles, desert ruins, and shipping docks, along with other environments. These are descriptions of the settings, so look at the options presented in-game when choosing your map.

Vote for an arena you want to practice. Repeated matches give you opportunities to learn routes between fights and weapon pickups. If you’re playing with friends, agree on a choice so everyone knows which arena you’re aiming to play.

Plan Around Movement and Weapon Crates

PIGSHOT gives you a grappling hook, double jumps, flips, and slides. Use those movement tools when learning an arena: practice getting around while keeping track of where you can find your next weapon.

Weapon access deserves attention immediately. You can begin a round without a gun, and weapon crates drop during play. Ammunition can also run out, making another pickup part of staying in the fight.

Keep these priorities in mind:

  • Find a weapon before committing to a fight. Locate a crate instead of rushing an armed opponent.
  • Practice routes to pickups. Use your grappling hook and jumps to work on reaching weapons from different positions.
  • Track your ammunition. When your gun runs dry, look for another weapon crate.
  • Coordinate in 3v3. Tell teammates when you’re still searching for a gun so they can account for your position.

Both 1v1 and 3v3 matches put these decisions under pressure. In a duel, focus on learning your own route to a weapon. With teammates, communicate before chasing a pickup or joining their fight.
