How to Play the Castle Arenas

PIGSHOT castles bring the game's fast gunfights and grappling movement into castle-themed arenas. Players vote for the battlefield, and the first to win three rounds takes the match. Getting armed and keeping track of your ammunition matter from the opening scramble.

To play on a castle arena, choose it when it appears among the map voting options. Castles share the arena lineup with desert ruins, shipping docks, and other battlefields.

Keep these match details in mind before jumping in:

The server capacity covers the server; individual fights include smaller formats such as 1v1 and 3v3.

Complete the tutorial before entering regular matches. Use it to practice shooting and movement together, especially aiming while another pig jumps or changes direction.

The tutorial includes an objective to eliminate three enemies. Work through that shooting task alongside the movement instructions before heading into regular competition. Solo play and team formats give you different ways to enter the action, including duels against one opponent and 3v3 team matches.

Finishing the tutorial also unlocks the lobby menus. To reach the shop afterward, select the Shop icon at the bottom of the lobby screen. Your pig's customization options include shirts, pants, hats, and crowns, plus colors, patterns, and stickers. Use those options to change your pig's appearance between trips into the arenas.

Matches award coins that you can spend in the shop, and daily tasks offer additional rewards. Complete those tasks alongside your matches to collect the extra rewards. Polsia Studio also has more maps, weapons, and cosmetics planned, giving the existing castle, desert ruins, and shipping docks lineup room to grow.

Use Your Movement Tools Between Shots

Your pig can grapple, double jump, flip, and slide. Practice combining those actions with aiming so that moving around the arena does not leave you struggling to line up your next shot.

PIGSHOT — Use Your Movement Tools Between Shots

  • Grapple to reposition. Use the hook to travel across the arena when you need to reach another part of the fight.
  • Double jump to change your movement. Practice keeping an opponent in view while jumping.
  • Slide while relocating. Work sliding into your movement between firing opportunities.
  • Practice flips before a close fight. Get comfortable with the action while keeping track of nearby opponents.

On keyboard and mouse, Spacebar jumps, C slides, and left-click fires your weapon. Practice jumping and sliding separately before combining either action with shooting. Use the tutorial's enemy objective to rehearse those inputs while aiming, then bring that same control practice into your next duel.

Keep weapon pickups in mind while moving. If you start a round without a gun, direct your movement toward a crate rather than immediately chasing an armed opponent.

In 3v3, keep track of your teammates during that opening scramble. Secure a weapon, then move to help them instead of entering the fight empty-handed.

Manage Weapon Pickups and Ammunition

Weapons come from crates, and finding one is an immediate priority when you enter a round unarmed. Watch for dropped crates throughout the fight, particularly when your current weapon runs out of ammunition.

Shotguns and revolvers are among the weapons you can encounter. Learn how each pickup fires before spending its ammunition on difficult shots. Avoid repeatedly firing at a jumping opponent without adjusting your aim.

Watch your remaining shots during a chase. If your weapon runs dry, break off the pursuit and look for another pickup. In a team fight, tell your teammates when you need a weapon so they know why you are repositioning.
