How Do Duels Work in PIGSHOT?
PIGSHOT duel rules come down to one goal: win three rounds before your opponent or the opposing team does. A 2–0 lead still leaves another round to win, while 2–2 makes the next round decisive. Getting a weapon quickly matters because you can enter the fight without a gun.
The match runs across separate combat rounds. In a 1v1, eliminate your opponent to take the round; in team matches, eliminate the opposing team.
| Match Detail | Rule |
|---|---|
| Match victory | First to win 3 rounds |
| Combat format | Round-based duels |
| Server capacity | 20 players |
The server’s 20-player capacity is separate from your duel’s team size. You aren’t fighting everyone in the server for a single match victory.
For example, winning the opening round and losing the next two puts you behind 1–2. Win the following round to tie the score, then take the deciding round for a 3–2 victory.
Choose Between Solo and Team Duels
PIGSHOT includes 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 fights. Solo duels put each elimination on you, while team matches give you teammates to coordinate with.

In team fights, an individual elimination doesn’t finish the round while other opponents remain. Keep track of who is still alive before breaking away to search for another weapon.
- In 1v1: Locate a crate immediately, then watch your opponent’s route toward weapons.
- In 2v2: Call out an opponent’s position and low health so your teammate can follow up.
- In 3v3: Leave teammates room to move and shoot instead of crowding the same approach.
Help a new teammate learn how to get a weapon before expecting them to cover you. An extra player without a gun needs time to get equipped.
Get Weapons From Crates and Watch Your Ammo
Weapon crates are central to the fight. You can start without a gun, and opening a crate gives you access to equipment. The pickup still matters: another player can grab a weapon that drops from a crate you opened.
Move close enough to collect the drop before opening a contested crate. In team matches, communicate who needs a gun so everyone doesn’t chase the same pickup.
Weapons include shotguns, revolvers, bows, machine guns, and explosive launchers. Adapt your next move to what you actually pick up instead of waiting for a favorite weapon.
Watch your ammunition during a fight. If you run dry and need another weapon, head toward a crate rather than continuing to chase an armed opponent. Look for your next pickup before you’re stranded without a usable shot.
Use Movement and Map Voting to Your Advantage
You can vote for the battlefield, with settings that include castles, desert ruins, and shipping docks. Vote for a map whose routes you recognize, then plan how you’ll reach weapons without losing track of the enemy.
Your movement options include a grappling hook, double jumps, flips, and slides. Use them to reposition between attacks and reach another crate when you need equipment.
On PC, press Space to jump, C to slide, and the left mouse button to fire your weapon.
Keep your landing area in view when jumping or grappling near an edge. Falling off the map can cost you the fight, even when you still have health.
Earn Rewards and Keep Matches Fair
Matches award coins you can spend in the shop, and daily tasks offer extra rewards. Cosmetic options include shirts, pants, hats, and crowns for customizing your pig.
Cheating carries a permanent ban, and exploiting glitches is prohibited. Keep your movement within the intended play area while practicing grapple routes and jumps.
